Education

I was born in the Portland area and attended Portland State University. I did not complete my undergrad degree, and then my master's in teaching, until I was 40! My school mascots have been Pacers, Vikings, and Boxers!

Bio

Before joining The Heights Elementary staff I was a math teacher at Broadway Middle School for over 10 years. I have so many wonderful memories from that time in my career. Now I am learning about brain research, growth mindset, adverse childhood experiences, social and emotional learning, restorative discipline, PBIS and more right alongside the staff, students, and community.
