I'm very excited to meet and get to know each of you! My name is Toni Paino (pay-no) and I've taught in Astoria schools for 1 year, Warrenton for 12 years and this is my 5th year here at Seaside Heights.  Before my teaching career I was an educational assistant for Seaside Schools for more than 10 years.  I love teaching, and love our school district. Self esteem, and always encouraging students to try are two things I encourage in my students.

   I've lived in Gearhart for 45 years and grew up in Seaside.  I'm a Seaside Height School graduate(Central School back in the day), and so are my three children.  My oldest daughter is married and a professor at Oregon State University, my son is in retail management in Boston, Mass., and my youngest daughter manages a community health clinic in Astoria.  The joys of my life are my grandsons, Elliot who is 6 and Griffin who is a newborn.  My students will often hear funny "Elliot stories" from Ms. Paino.  I like to crochet, read, and spend time with my family.  I love to learn, and I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my teaching and inspire students. 

   Seaside Heights is the best place to be, I love my fellow teachers, and all the support we get from our administration and school board. Welcome!
