Greetings from the Beach!

My wife, Erin, and I have raised our three kids from kindergarten through high school here in Seaside.We have loved our twenty-five years of living on the river in our 1899 historic home. Beyond teaching nine years of middle school science at Broadway Middle School, two years at Winston Dillard Jr. High and fifteen years at Seaside Heights Elementary school, my life in Seaside has been one great adventure and experience. Surfing, salmon fishing, clamming, gardening, woodworking, playing guitar, and bike riding on the prom fill my days with life experiences I share with my students daily. Each new year of children are like my new garden, or paddling out into a new surf session: I'm excited to discover what's going to happen next. I'm grateful for our wonderful district and community of support that allows me the priviledge of educating and encouraging our children to become great young citizens in our town and the world. Stoked on the beach!
