Lunch Buddy Program

Select A New Community Service

For over 10 years, the Lunch Buddy/Mentoring program has worked to provide Clatsop County elementary students with a backpack and starter supplies to ensure students get off to a great start for the school year. At SHES, the backpacks are available to first and second graders this year. Contact the school for more information!

In addition, the Lunch Buddy program supports volunteers who lunch with a "buddy" at school once a week. A Lunch Buddy acts as a mentor to a student, and meets with that student once a week during lunch and recess time.
