This is my second year as principal of Seaside Heights Elementary and sixth year as principal of Gearhart Elementary School. Both Seaside Heights and Gearhart Elementary are amazing schools with highly qualified and dedicated staff! I truly feel lucky to be working at both of these very special schools! In the Fall of 2020, both elementary schools will combine at our newly remodeled site to become one elementary school with a new name, mascot & colors!

Throughout my career in education I have taught 2nd-6th grades and also worked as a Teacher on Special Assignment(TOSA). I earned my teaching degree from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. In addition, I have a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

I LOVE my job! I come from a family of educators. Both of my parents were teachers and eventually became principals. My sister's are also in education as well. My older sister teaches kindergarten in Salem, Oregon and my little sister is an elementary counselor, but stays at home now with her little ones.

I have an amazingly supportive husband, two wonderful kids and a spoiled miniature dachshund! In my spare time I enjoy reading, snow skiing and playing board games with my family.
